Required Education
Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Management or a hospitality-related major from an accredited school. Equivalent experience is also accepted.
Required Qualifications
- Organizing stock and equipment, ordering supplies, and overseeing building maintenance, cleanliness and security; implement company policies, procedures, ethics, etc.
- Planning and working to budgets, maximizing profits and achieving sales targets.
- Assist in recruiting new staff, training and developing existing staff, motivating and encouraging staff to achieve targets and coordinating staff scheduling and rotations.
- Working to ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the store is complying with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Establish and maintain a high-level of service, customer satisfaction, and on-going customer relations.
Required Competencies
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational savvy
- Ability to work with minimum supervision in a team-oriented project
- The ability to build trust with others, both within and outside the company, through commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
