Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial reports for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

  • Prepare and maintain financial records and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and recorded.

  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports as required.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax laws.

  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.

  • Process payroll and maintain employee records.

  • Prepare and submit tax returns and other government forms.

  • Perform other accounting duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience

  • Proficiency in Quickbooks is a must.

  • Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.

  • Experience in service industries is preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (e.g., Finance, Business Administration).

  • Diploma in insurance and/or engineering fields can also apply without prior experience.
